Our little blob

Shawn and I went for our first ultrasound today. We were so excited all weekend. The baby looked more like a blob than Aiden did. Aiden looked more like a gummy bear. What a difference 5 days makes. We had Aiden’s ultrasound at exactly 8 weeks and 2 days and little one’s ultrasound is just three days shy of 8 weeks. Little one’s heartbeat was a strong 156 beats per minute. Aiden’s was 183. I’m sure my mother would say this means for sure it’s a girl. Shawn and I will be happy with whatever we get. We just hope he or she is as healthy and happy as his or her big brother.
