I don't like sandwiches?

I made my first doctor’s appointment yesterday. We have a sonogram and visit scheduled for August 30. It’s going to be a really long month waiting for that first appointment. I’m super excited. I also had my first pregnancy (what do you call it?) roadblock. We are getting together with friends this weekend and the food choices were either pizza or sub sandwiches. I of course chose pizza because I’m really not supposed to be eating lunch meat. Well, EVERYONE else chose subs. What to do? So I just emailed everyone and said I would bring my own food because I’m not much of a sub fan. So yeah…I made myself sound like a food snob. It really is way too early to tell people, so I guess I’ll be fine with looking like a food snob for now.
