Such a Smart Monkey!!

Aiden is getting smarter by the minute. He's really taking advantage of his new found mobility and getting into EVERYTHING. He sees a cabinet; he wants to open it. He sees a drawer; he wants to pull on it. He sees a chair; he wants to pull up on it. You can almost see his little brain just soaking up all the new information he's getting.

Shawn and I have been doing sign language with Aiden and while he's eating we sign "more" and "all done" so that he'll eventually be able to tell us whether he's full or not. Well, the other day he started saying "all done" when he was full. Now granted it isn't perfect English, but it is clearly the words "all done." I still can't decide if he actually knows that I'm "momma" and Shawn is "daddy," so "all done" may technically be his first words. Not exactly what we had planned, but funny nonetheless.

He is also standing by himself more and more. Once he realizes he is standing without support, though, he startles himself and falls. I think I actually saw the beginnings of some bottom teeth as well. He isn't really showing any other signs of teething except that he's been a little more cranky than usual, but since he's such a great baby, "more cranky" is still not bad.
