Milk Machine: Out of Order

I'm officially no longer a breastfeeder!! YEA!! I thought I might feel kinda sad about it. I mean, it's a bonding moment for me and Aiden. It's one of the only times during the day that it's just him and I. The thought of having to give it up was way worse than actually giving it up though. I'm still not 100% back to normal, but I haven't pumped in over 24 hours and I'm feeling OK. I think it'll take at least a few more days to fully rid myself of everything. Shawn took me out for sushi on Thursday and it was GREAT! I ate and ate and ate. I've also been enjoying a bigger glass of wine. :) I did love the fact that I could provide Aiden with a nutricious meal, but I think 8 months is a good run. Now it's time for Mommy to get back to normal, wear normal clothes again, and eat whatever I want. Downside: no more calories burned while sitting on my butt. I must get back to running!!
