4 Weeks Have Flown By

My sweet baby girl is 4 weeks old today! They have really gone by fast. It doesn't seem that long ago that we were in the hospital. I'm sure I'll say the same thing on her high school graduation day. :) I've really neglected this blog. Lilah isn't quite as easy going as Aiden was, so if she isn't sleeping, she's fussing. Not good conditions for keeping up with a blog. She really has been a joy though. I can't complain.

I thought I'd start off with some stats. On her first doctor appointment on April 19 (5 days old) she weighed exactly her birth weight of 7 lbs. 3 oz. (48%), was 19 inches long (25%) (I'm sure she didn't shrink so this may have been off a little), and her head was 13 inches around (10% - small head just like her brother). Her next appointment was at 2 weeks. She had vastly improved in her numbers. She weighed 8 lbs. 4 oz. (50%), she was 20 1/2 inches long (50%) and her head was 14 inches around (50%). We had another doctor appointment on May 3 for reflux issues and she had already gained more weight and was 8 lbs. 13 oz. This girl can eat!!

As I stated before, we are having issues with reflux. I'm not too surprised since Aiden had them too. She is currently on Zantac, but I'm hoping the doctor will put her on Prevacid instead since #1 it seems to be more effective and #2 it tastes much better. We'll see. Our next appointment is on May 17th.
