it is now! We found out yesterday that my Granny has breast cancer. It's hard for me to even type those words. My Granny has always been the rock of our family; always there for us. I can't even imagine life without her.
The cancer is apparently growing and looks pretty aggressive. She has to have surgery to remove it, but due to her weakened heart valve, surgery is risky. It's a risk she has to take though. What a tough situation she is in. I wish I could just rush over there and be with her for the rest of this tough time. I hate to imagine her there without her family.
I'm planning on telling Granny that I'm pregnant before she goes into surgery. I want her to know to fight with everything she has because I want my children to know this wonderful woman. I also couldn't take it if she passed without knowing I was pregnant.
Dear God,
Please get my Granny through this surgery. We need her for a little while longer!
