Lilah is 6 Months!!

This has been the fastest half year and the slowest half year all in one. Lilah is getting to be so much fun and in that stage where things are starting to happen very fast. She's been sitting up on her own for a while now and only occasionally falls backward. Her little giggle is the cutest sound you've ever heard. She's reaching for things like mad right now. You definitely have to look out for things within her reach because she can grab things at lightening speed! We started her on solids. So far she's had rice cereal (doesn't really like it too much), sweet potatoes, and acorn squash. I plan on introducing her to carrots this week. At this rate she may turn orange soon. I'll have to sneak some greens in there at some point, but I'm sure she won't think they are as tasty. Lilah's 6-month checkup went well. She is 26 inches tall (70%), she weighed 16.6 pounds (55%), and her head was 17 inches around (75%). Everyone continues to say she looks just like Daddy. The teachers at daycare saw him for the first time and instantly knew whose father he was. Daddy's little girl for sure.
