4 Months

Lilah is four months old now!! I can't believe that in a few short months she'll probably be sitting up and eating people food. She'll be such a big girl. We had our four month check up today and Lilah is now 14 pounds and 6 1/2 ounces (75%). She is 25 inches long (75%) and her head is 16 3/4 inches around (55%). She is still not sleeping through the night again. I know she can do it, just not sure why she won't now. I'm hoping that by the time she is eating people food she'll be full enough to make it through the night. Although I'm not 100% convinced she is waking up because she is hungry. She's been having reflux issues lately so maybe once we get her on Prevacid (hopefully today) that'll get better.

This week was her first week in daycare. They called me on Monday saying she had only eaten 5 total ounces in two feedings. The daycare panicked a little and had me come pick her up. Shawn and I agreed that they overreacted a little so when they called again Tuesday and said she had only eaten one ounce for her first feeding I was a little hesitant to pick her up. The director called me to explain that they just want to make sure they try everything possible and asked for suggestions. I told them to get her calmed down before they feed her and that she likes to hear the sound of the vacuum. So they found a You Tube video of someone vacuuming and played it for her and she sucked down her bottle in no time. I was so relieved. I was afraid we'd have to send her to a different school.
