Aiden's Newest (and some older) Tricks

I haven't really been very good at keeping up with Aiden's milestones, so I thought I would try to catch everyone up in this post. For about a month now he has been getting good at saying his "B's." He is constantly saying "ba ba ba ba." Just recently he has started his "G's." Ga ga ga ga. Still no ma ma or da da.

He is really sitting up like a champ now. He'll still topple over if he gets a little too excited about reaching for something, but for the most part he is sitting up very well.

His people food diet now consists of sweet potatoes, carrots, and green beans. The avocado got nixed. For some reason he won't eat it anymore. I'm going to keep trying though. What Texan baby can get away with not liking avocado? I'm going to introduce fruits this weekend. I'll probably regret it because everyone tells me that once you introduce fruits, the veggies go out the window. Hopefully that won't be the case, but I won't be too surprised if it is.

He still isn't sleeping past 4:30 AM. I usually can just feed him and he'll go right back to sleep until 6:30 or 7:00. Every 4th or 5th night he'll even wake up around 1:30 or 2:00 AM. He'll usually go right back down, but sometimes Daddy is up with him for 30 minutes to an hour before he'll go back down. I know I need to do something to get him sleep trained, but I just can't stand to hear him crying so we (I mean me) just end up going in there to comfort him. I just figure he'll eventually get it. He's got his bedtime routine down pat though. Once we get his bath over with, he is itching to eat and go to sleep.

We are having the absolute time of our lives with him. He is the best and we are so blessed to have him and each other. I don't know what I would do without my boys!! :)
