Our little monkey is four months old today. He's growing up so fast; I can hardly keep up. He's been sick for about a week, so this month's "birthday" hasn't been so great. He started with a cough a week ago, and last Friday it was at its worst and he was throwing up and just looked miserable. Now we are just down to a stuffy nose and terrible sounding cough. The doctor said he doesn't have anything bacterial and that we'd just have to wait it out. I really feel bad for the little guy and wish I could do something to help him. On the up side, I've gotten to spend more time with him. I stayed home with him for a half day last Friday and a half day on Tuesday.
In the last month, Aiden has found his voice. Last weekend, he talked non-stop and was having what seemed to be an in depth conversation with us. I can't wait to hear his first real words (and I can't lie, I hope it is Mommy). He is also giggling a lot more lately. I was rocking him after work today because he looked tired and I gently kissed his cheek and he cracked up!! So I just kept kissing his little cheek and he kept laughing and laughing. It was the cutest thing you've ever seen. All the mothers I've talked to say it just gets better and better, and so far I have to agree.
